GFH Lexington

Mission Statement

To encourage each other as we learn about the worldwide oppression of women and children and follow God’s leading to work for their healing and empowerment.

Who are we?

We are a group of women representing a wide variety of backgrounds, ages and experiences all with a passion for women and children around the world. Our members are going to school, staying home with kids, working outside the home, and retired. We each have a heart for these sisters and children of ours around the world and are either leading/participating in efforts to provide for their healing and empowerment or awaiting for God’s call on our lives to serve Him in this way.

What do we do?

We meet monthly to learn about areas of oppression and injustice against women and children and/or what is being done/ can be done to fight for the healing and restoration of these individuals. We utilize a lending library to learn more about areas that speak to our hearts and encourage each other as we share how God is calling us so none of us walks alone. All we do is lifted in prayer.

What is our goal?

Our hope is for each woman to be educated, encouraged and mobilized to discern her calling and step out in faith to follow her unique path.

When and where do we meet?

We meet the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in room 205 of 2 Militia, Lexington, MA 02421.
